Any full time food delivery drivers here making 20 to 25 per hour consistently?
Main Post:
How do you do it? Do you accept most orders? Do you start early at like 6 or 7 am? What's your method? Earning 200 dollars in 8 hours give or take sounds like it would be great to me. I'm a full time driver in the SLC Utah area BTW.
Post your strategy to get 20 to 25 per hour.
Top Comment: Multi-app UE and GH (because DD is intolerable crap and hides tips over $4). Only do orders that are worth the time. My acceptance rate is usually in single digits. Never do shopping orders or fast food orders or any other orders that are certain to take an unreasonable amount of time. Only work during peak hours: 11-2 and 5-9. It's not that hard. And I usually make $30 or more/hr. Your market may vary.
Is being a delivery driver worth it?
Main Post:
The title is pretty self explanatory! Ive had a couple of jobs before, one working in a industrial fridge organising food and one working outside washing trucks.
I'm not a very physical person and I've recently been looking into doing delivery driving since if all goes well (🤞) I should have a car in the next few months.
I feel like it would be a good fit for me, I enjoy driving and occasionally going for walks, so getting to drive around and deliver people's stuff sounds like a good job for me. I know there's probably more to it than that but I would like to get another job, I don't NEED the money but it's nice to earn a little to spend on myself/put in savings for the future.
Any words of advice or anything would be appreciated:)
Or just tell me it's not the right job for me haha
Top Comment: Go look up job/employer reviews on indeed or glassdoor.
What's it like being a delivery driver?
Main Post:
Are there any pros and cons? I heard that once you're a driver, you no longer have to deal with customers at the store and have weekends off, is that true? Also is it a 9 to 5 position? Am I able to take a lunch break? Will I be able to listen to music while I drive? Am I being tracked just like how Amazon tracks their drivers? Does Sherwin Williams pay for the gas?
Top Comment: Easiest position IMO. You are paid by the hour, M-F schedule, holidays paid and off, usually 7-3, 8-4, or 9-5 schedule. You are tracked. Listen to music or talk hands free while on route. You will need to deal with customers to some extent, nothing like the stores. The hardest part is dropping the paint off where it needs to be. Sometimes it’s not as easy and just leaving it by the curb. Luckily you get paid by the hour so you have plenty of time to get it done.
Any good NON-Food delivery apps?

Flex & Walmart is full in my area and I can't seem to find anything else like it.
I have a mid-sized SUV btw
Top Comment: US Pack does pharmacy and car part deliveries. Their website used to show what areas they are in and hiring at
